I have always been amazed by the power of a picture. It takes you back to a memory that you love and cherish, occasions forgotten and a glimpse of lives that have passed on. Days go by fast and details can easily become forgotten, but once you capture those moments they will always live on. As a blossoming professional photographer, I love the challenge of capturing the true essence of a moment. That special look in a newlyweds eye, a mother's hand caressing her belly in anticipation of her child's birth, the marvel at brand new life, and the nervous joy of a graduating senior. As a mother, sister, daughter, wife, and friend, I have found I have natural ability for knowing and seeing when the shot is perfect; the perfect shot to catch those moments that pass in an instant.
I grew up in Centreville, Virginia and graduated from Westfield High School. I spent my college years in North Carolina at High Point University and graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice. Though I always knew my career goal was to work in the Criminal Justice field, my passion for photography and camera were never very far.
Inspiration comes in many forms and motivation to take the risk can lurk behind any corner. My life events have led me to follow this passion and be here to be a part of your lives and families.
