I met Karla and Richard two years ago when contacted me to photograph her bridal portraits. They were married outside of the country, and they contacted me again to do an anniversary session in their wedding attire because they were never quite happy with the photos from their wedding day. To put it simply, I fell in love with them. Our personalities just clicked, they loved my work, and I loved photographing them! Thankfully, these initial sessions were not our last together because we have become great friends. I consider myself so lucky!
Just over a year ago, I had the great honor of photographing Karla while she was pregnant. I captured her baby shower, family photos when Mateo was a newborn, and an adorable Mommy + Me session with Karla and Mateo this past spring. M is just too cute; I can’t get enough! Mateo is growing into a fun-loving toddler, and I knew I wanted to have fun with this pair for his first birthday. We planned a cake smash along with family photos, and it was so difficult to choose just a few favorites from their session!

Karla and Richard, I love you both, and I could not be happier to continue to document your story and your growing family. Mateo is adorable and so dapper! I’m already counting down until our next session together.
