Happy Wedding Wednesday! It’s always amazing when couples trust you to photograph their wedding day. But Nora and Austin’s wedding took trust to another level! We never actually met before their big day. Nora’s amazing mother, Katie, coordinated everything as she lives locally, and the couple hails from Chicago.
Opting for a smaller wedding and focusing on the details, the day came together perfectly. Nora’s twin sister, Betsy was her maid of honor and Austin’s older brother Jamin was his best man. These two were so supportive of the bride and groom!
Just before the ceremony, Nora and Austin paused for the sweetest first look. It was already clear to me how beautiful N+A were on the inside as well as the outside, but this moment just sealed the deal. I also adored capturing their portraits later in the day! Their love and affection for one another were apparent to everyone present.
The historic and elegant venue, The Whittemore House, also known as The Woman’s National Democratic Club, was the perfect intimate venue for this couple. Together with their guests, they made sure to enjoy time spent in the photo booth, listening to heartfelt toasts, and dancing together as Mr. and Mrs. for the first time.
