1 / anyone want some fish? our gift to hayden for his 3rd birthday was a fish tank. needless to say the kind people at the pet store did not ask us if we were planning to extend our family and gave us a mix of males and one female. did you know female guppies are pregnant for about a month? well almost an exact month to the date we now have SIX baby guppies.. plus our 4 fish. Â anyone want some fish?!

2 & 3 / the week started out cold and rainy so we took advantage of it and made our favorite soup! pioneer woman’s corn and cheese chowder, made it a couple years ago for the first time after seeing our dear friend ali caudill‘s picture and we all fell in love! it’s so fun to have go to recipes that the whole family enjoys and this soup will not disappoint. hayden even helped out!
